3x+2y-z=-1 x+y+z=6 3x+y+2z=15

3x+2y-z=-1
x+y+z=6
3x+y+2z=15

These are what are known as simultaneous equations.

The trick is to use a method called substitution to place values from one equation into others in such a way as they reduce the number of variables and allow you to solve the question.
