7 is a factor of 35 ( 7 x 5 = 35) So When the number is divided by 7, then also the remainder will be 3

Try using this method. Let the number be 'x'. X/35= _+3, assume_to be (3) cross multiplying, x=35*3+3, x=105+3=108, 108/35=3re3&108/7=15re3.

108 divided by 35 = 3 and 3 left over so if you divide 108 by 7 you get15 and 3 left over also,so the answer is 3

The remainder would then also be 3 because 35 is divisible by 7
