Are chemists paid well?
Question asked by: mrquestion

Yes chemists can get paid well.
Like most jobs, it depends to a large extent on which area of chemistry it is that they go into.
If they go into research for a large pharmaceutical company then they can get a nice salary, if they go into academia and get a professorship for instance, then they can make a lot of money.
Some start their own companies and manage large budgets doing research and so on and can become millionaires.
