Are the bra sizes in different shops consistent?

In theory bra sizes should be the same in all shops, because the measurement system that is used is the same.
However as with any item of clothing in practice you will find that there is quite a difference, and what fits you in one shop of a certain size may not fit you very well in another shop.
It is also worth getting your bust measured every year or so just to check that you are still wearing the right size of bra for you.
