Can a CV make you look overqualified?
Question asked by: mrquestion

In the current climate there is an interesting debate about whether people should dumb down their CV to get a job.
No-one wants to hire someone to work for them who is going to outshine them because they are overqualified, or simply because your job satisfaction may be lower and therefore you might be less keen to do the job.
Therefore if you are definitely too qualified for a job but want it anyway, for whatever reason, then consider toning down your achievements.
