Can i straighten my hair as well as curl it with the 'vs sasoon you curl'?

This is a curling hair care product from vidal sassoon I guess from the name having curl in it.
I think most products will either straighten or curl I would not think that they would do both as they are opposite things aren't they!
So the answer I think is that it is for curling and not for straightening.
