Can I use photos from websites for free?
Asked on: 14 Aug 2009
The answer is virtually always no - the vast majority of websites copyright their photography so that it is illegal to use it.
The exception are a small number of sites that specifically say that their content is in the public domain for use and some stock photography libraries that have free images.
In general though if you take an image from a site and they find out then they won't be happy!!!
