Conifers

We moved into our house 18 months ago. There are 6 conifers 3'6"high lining front garden path. 5 of them are green and healthy but one is obviously in the process of dying as it has turned brown. Can I dig it out and replace it? It is strange why this one has died and the others have not? any ideas? thanks Karen

Plants and trees can die for a whole load of reasons. There could be some fungus or other infection that has affected one plant specifically causing it to die.
