Could you live on Venus?
Question asked by: mrquestion

Well, some species might be capable of living on Venus but none that are known of on earth.
Certainly multi-cellular life would have a real chore because of various problems, not least the intense heat and pressure that would crush anything of complicated structure to death straight away, not to mention the very nasty mix of chemicals on that planet which would be lethal to lifeforms on earth.
It is possible that some extremophile bacteria or other single celled organisms might have a chance on Venus but it seems unlikely.
