Damp proofing and insulation

my front door is now where an open porch area was and I want to insulate and damp proof this area to ensure it's warm and dry - I'm not sure what to use whether there is one product or I need to use 2 products for this - help please

Maybe talk to a DIY expert who can advise you on the best way to proceed.

I have found before if you take a photo down to your local hardware store they can then recommend the best products for you.
