Define inetic theory and relate it to the tree states of matter?
Question asked by: valentff
Asked on: 16 Jun 2008

Do you mean kinetic?
Kinetics is to do with movement and how this affects things.
With matter there are actually four states, not three.
The main three are solid, liquid and gas though not every substance has all three states. The faster the particles move the higher up the state of matter is, eg very energetic particles are in gas, whilst solids are slower moving and rigidly bonded.
The fourth state of matter is plasma.
