Describe the basic steps in the Scientific Method using an example. Why are controls necessary in the scientific method?
Question asked by: knowitall
The scientific method is exactly that - the method science and scientists use in order to try to find answers to questions that they ask.
The key steps are to take small steps from a starting point to a conclusion, not making one big leap but using a series of hypotheses and experiments in order to work slowly to a conclusion, one step at a time.
