Details about the moon

i want to known why does the moon appear bigger near the horizon???????????? please answerto this question as soon as possible....

This is due to the way that rays of light are bent in the earths atmosphere.

A lensing effect happens and makes the light appear larger, just like when you look through something like a liquid the actual size/shape of objects are distorted.

Similarly this sort of thing happens when you peer through the atmosphere of a planet and when rays hit it at certain angles.
