Did life come to earth on a comet?
Question asked by: mrquestion

One of the options that is considered by scientists as to how life began is that some important chemicals were delivered by a comet which were the building blocks of life; whether something that we would recognise as alive was actually delivered seems more doubtful.
It is thought that these comets that smashed into earth could have contained some amino acids and other chemicals that could have developed into primitive lifeforms.
