Difference between local time &standard time
Question asked by: ujjawal

Local time is what everyone in your area agrees that the time is.
Standard time is the worlds agreed standard time which is arbitrary but agreed - for instance this is greenwich mean time at +0, all other local time zones are measured as ahead or behind this, so Australia is always ahead of the rest of the world and America is behind the majority of the world, literally in terms of time.
