Discuss the effect of light on photosynthesis?

Light is one of the important elements for photosynthesis to occur it cannot happen without it.

This is because it providers the power or energy that allows the chemical reactions to take place within the cells that are what photosynthesis is, without the energy from the photons of light the reactions can't happen.
