Discuss the uses of enzymes?

Question asked by: dannyboy

Enzymes are biological catalysts.

As such they are used to speed up reactions that otherwise would occur much too slowly would be useful.

Sometimes they even make reactions occur that wouldn't happen without the presence of enzymes.

They work by creating an active site where molecules of each reagent come together and therefore react which they wouldn't do otherwise.

They make our biological processes and reactions in our bodies and those of other creatures happen that would not otherwise be possible.
