Do company executives know enough about the web to make decisions on online strategy?
Question asked by: mrquestion

Emphatically no I would say.
Execs are still way behind the game when it comes to online apart from perhaps in tech firms and IT companies where it is their job to keep up with these things.
Too often in large companies execs make the wrong decisions with their online strategies and show themselves to be pretty clueless going with something that looks good that they understand but that is not best for the customers.
large companies tend to be particularly bad offenders when it comes to making the most of their online presence.
