Do people believe what they see on TV?
Question asked by: mrquestion

Yes it seems that some people do believe what they see on TV as they act accordingly in their lives and some criminals refer to what they've seen on TV or imaginary conversations with people on TV shows and films too!
In fact many believe we are more impressionable than ever to what we see on screen and use this as a case against some of the material that is presented on TV to us these days.
Of course when people gossip about a soap in the office as though it were real we have to assume they know it's not really real, though the way some people even get emotionally involved with the characters suggests that even those of us who know it is not real can get drawn in too.
