I really hope you're joking, of course you don't use a clothes iron for doing your hair, are you crazy!
You should use a product like GHDs for straightening your hair, you can get GHDs in lots of shops and hairdressers, they are quite expensive but worth it if you want straight hair and of course you need to be careful as they are very hot when operating.
