Does a placebo for unhappiness work well?

Question asked by: mrquestion

Asked on: 14 Jan 2010

A placebo I suppose could work and many people say that actually those pills taken for things like depression only work through the placebo effect.

The key is not to know that what you are taking is a placebo.

Therefore if you are unhappy I suppose you could get a friend to give you sugar pills as long as you believe they are going to help you and it might work!
