Does astrology play a part in choosing relationships?

Astrology is a load of old nonsense, that for some bizarre reason has taken a hold on many people, particularly in the western world.
It should not play any part in people's decisions, though some illogical people do actually think there is some weight behind astrology and will come up with some bizarre comments about themselves then say : "but them I'm a ...insert star sign here... so that's why I'm so stupid" or whatever the case may be!
