Does consciousness prove God exists?
Question asked by: mrquestion

It depends on who you ask!
For some religious people then consciousness seems something so inexplicable and phenomenal then it can only be achieved through some sort of divine intervention or wisdom and it seems incredible to the point of unbelievable that a natural wandering process for a few billion years could achieve such a feat.
For others it just reaffirms how amazing the world around us is and that 'blind chance' through a lot of evolution has led to atoms rearranging themselves into a manner where they are conscious of themselves.
