Does romance last for long in a relationship?

It depends who you talk to whether romance lasts long in a relationship.
There are some people who buck the trend but in general I think if you spoke to most couples they would say that the excitement and the romance from the first flushes of the relationship gently start to fade away.
That's not to say that romance cannot be added back into relationships with effort on both parts, but certainly that natural initial romantic spark can soon fade to grey.
