A man on a bicycle work at a rate of 80 watts when he is traveling on a level road at 5meters per seconds. (a) What is the resistance to his motion? (b) The man and the bicycle all together have a mass of 60 kg if the power output is the same when he cycles up a hill of gradient 1 in 50 and the resistance opposing motion is the same as in (a). What is the speed?

It is best to work these questions out for yourself, if someone gives you the answer then you won't learn!

Rather go to your text book and work out what formula you need to apply then use it, this will stand you in the best stead in the long run.
