Find the initial speed of the bullet?

A 2g bullet is fired into 1.5kg ballistic pendulum. The bullet emerges from the block with a speed of 200 m/s and the block rises to a maximum height of 12cm.

Speed is equal to the distance travelled divided by the time taken - so just pump the relevant numbers from the information into this equation to get your answer.
