Find the next Number

What is and how can I determine the next number in the sequence: 1, 2, 6, 42, 1806, ? I used to be able to do this, but I simply do not remember anymore.

The answer is 3,263,442.

Basically you multiply the number by itself plus one to find the next in the sequence. For instance (2 + 1) x 2 = 6. (6 + 1) x 6 = 42 and so on.
