Find the unknown cubes whose sum is X

I wanted to see if anyone can help me out with this question. Find two numbers whose cube's add up to a particular sum a^3 + b^3 = 2457 or a^3 + b^3 = 1729 Is there an easy way to figure what a & b is?

I think you just have to try lots of different values like trial and error or something but if there is a good method I don't know what it is.
