How to get rid of tiny black spot/freckle on tongue?

This morning I noticed a tiny black raised spot on the side of my tongue, it has just appeared over night. I dont know what it is or why I have it, my tongue doesnt feel any different at all. I cant stop analysing it in the mirror, just wondering what it is. If anyone knows what has caused it to appear or how to get rid of it please let me know. Thanks x

Several possible causes, however for any changes inside the mouth you should go and see your doctor to get an expert opinion and just check it's nothing serious.
