How can i clean detergent stain off melamine that has not been wiped off and left to run

Have you tried using something like simply lukewarm water to dilute it down a lot and then to rub it off?

Maybe that would work to remove it.

Detergent stains are usually not too bad since they often dissolve when diluted with lots of water.
