How can I get rid of the smell of curry which emanates into a back bedroom from my neighbour's kitchen?

Curry smells as you know are quite strong and distinctive, and not always pleasant!
If you want to get rid of the smell, try placing a small open packet of bicarbonate of soda on the window sill.
This should absord the smells and stop them and the odour becoming too unpleasant and intense.
