The obvious answer is to get a higher paying job. But the question probably means 'what can I do to increase my salary?'
Well, the best thing is to always be professional and try hard at work. Network with people that can influence your career for the better - by coaching, mentoring and hopefully using their own network and sphere of influence to give you access to great vacancies up the chain within the company.
You should also try and change job every few years so that you stay fresh build up many skills and are a good all rounder who can adapt from one place to another.
