How can I keep my nails clean?

Wash them regularly with soap and water and try to get the gunk out with any basic tool of which you get in any good nail set.
These will be able to remove the dirt from under the nails.
If you have short nails then this is another excellent way - the shorter the nail the less chance there is of something getting under it and the easier they are to clean, and conversely the less cleaning they need!
