How can I make my own word search puzzle?

There are a few ways of making your own wordsearch puzzle.

The hardest way would be to write a computer program to do it - this rules out most people.

The second is to do it by hand, come up with the wordlist and then create a grid in something like Word and then fill with your words, and then fill with random letters. You will need to check it is a valid wordsearch and you don't accidentally make a word appear more than once with this method!

Finally there are some websites that will allow you to create a wordsearch online so you could try using one of those.
