The easiest way to quickly increase your salary is through a process called job promotion!

And not just promotion within a company, but changing to a new company and getting a new job there.

The reason is this: within a company the pay scale between pay grades tends not to be too drastic a jump: depending on seniority of course, but in general you might be looking at, say, a £3,000 - £10,000 increase in pay from one pay grade to the next one up.

However if you move to a different company then there is no such artificial ceiling and even at middle level office workers you could quite comfortably add around £20,000 to your curernt salary by jumping ship.
