How can I remove fake tan that went wrong?

If your fake tanning went wrong then that could be quite a traumatic experience as it can go horrible and blotchy and uneven in colour which can make others laugh at you in extreme cases if it is really bad.

The key is to get it off as soon as you can, as soon as you realise that something is going wrong then wash with lots of warm soapy water and use something such as kitchen paper to rub it off rather than get it over and ruin a nice towel. If you act quickly and/or do lots and lots of washing then you should be able to get the worst of it off, though the permanence and durability of products does vary quite a lot!
