How can I remove unwanted elements from an image?

Question asked by: knowitall

If you want to edit an image, then the easiest way is to use a package like photoshop.

This has a tool called the clone tool that you can use to cleverly remove bits from the picture that you don't want someone to see.

It works best on background and repetitive areas where you can essentially paste another part of the photo over the area you want to use.

With skill, patience and subtlety you can make major changes to photos without people realising what you have done!
