How do I change a burglar alarm battery?

It depends on what the alarm is like; however with most it is simply a case of unscrewing the back off the device, disconnecting the battery.
Then note what sort it is, buy a new one and replace.
Then re-screw the back on securely, and ensure the alarm is working again - and that's it done!
