How do I cure cracked and flaking paint on my kitchen walls?

The best thing to do is to scrape off the flakes of paint so that the surface is smooth again.
Then buy that shade of yellow paint and re-paint the affected area and perhaps the whole wall to give it a whole new lease of life; good luck!
