How do I get nail varnish off an enamel bath?

Have you tried using nail varnish remover to get rid of it? Sometimes this is the only thing that will work.
As ever with this sort of thing it can be strong stuff so care must be taken to ensure that the nail varnish remover touches the nail varnish and not the materials underneath to stop any discolouration from occurring.
