How do I get paint off a carpet?

To get paint off your carpet, try spraying it with hairspray and see if that dissolves it and cleans the stain.
If this is no good then go to your local hardware store.
There will be a range of household solvents and cleaners there and they will know and advise which one to use for the particular type of paint that has caused the stain.
