How do I get rid of spilt milk in my fridge? I bought some bicarbonate of soda and mixed it with water then wiped it down but the smell is still there.

Question asked by: knowitall

What you hvae done is a good first step.

However the milk may have got into crevices that are hard to penetrate and therefore you will have to be patient and try this:

Rather than wiping with the bicarb, make a water spray of bicarb and water and spray thoroughly in the fridge, this will penetrate the areas where the milk has remained and hopefully start to get rid.

Also leave a small dish of bicarbonate of soda at the bottom of the fridge to absorb any smells and stop them building up too much.
