HOW do i get rid ov scorch marks on a marfil hearth?

Do you mean marble? Just never heard of marfil!
However if you have coal stains then these are going to be extremely hard to shift, requiring a lot of elbow grease and probably a specialist cleaning product - if there were cleaning instructions with the product then follow these else consult wherever you bought it from for info on the best product to use.
