How do I keep animals out of my garden in a safe way?
Question asked by: mrquestion

Two main ways to keep animals out of the garden.
The first is by securing the boundaries of the garden, so if possible then put a good quality fence around the garden, this will stop most of them getting in and for instance if you have hedges at the edge of one boundary then putting an inner fence can stop things crawling through the undergrowth.
The second way is to use some sort of humane system to deter them, for instance ultrasonic sounders or gels that smell nasty to animals and therefore deter them from visiting your garden.
