How do I know what clothes will look good?

Knowing what looks good on you comes with experience. There are many magazines and fashion programs etc that will give generic style ideas based on both complexion and also the shape of your body.

There are general trends that work - for instance if you are fat/thin/curvy/straight down and so on which will generally work for that body type. Similarly for light/fair/dark skin and so on there are colour schemes that tend to work well.
