How do I remove hair dye off a wooden chair?

Hair dye and wood - this can be a tricky stain to remove.
One method that you could use is to get a soap pad that is made of steel wool, and then cover them in soap or washing up liquid.
Rub gently so as not to actually scratch the wood underneath, and to see if this works to remove the stain.
