How do I resize an image?

To resize an image is quite simple.
First open the image viewer of your choice, here we are going to use irfanview as it is free.
Load irfanview and drag the image in to open it.
Then click ctrl + R or choose resize from the menu.
Then you can choose what size you want the image to be, and you can also say you don't want to respect the aspect ratio if you don't mind distortion in the dimensions of the image.
