How do I solve the isis puzzle?

Apparently this is a very disappointing puzzle from what I've read as the symbols on the outside of the puzzle don't actually mean much.
Basically it's to do with whacking it on the floor to release a ballbearing and then wiggling it around until it goes into a place that breaks a magnetic clasp and then the puzzle opens. Very disappointing.
