# How do we do x-1

Question asked by: myles66

Asked on: 18 Mar 2009

X-1 is not an equation to solve... is there another part to this?

However in general if you have x - 1 on one side of an equation and you want to work out what x is, then just add one to both sides.

For instance if you had x - 1 = 0 then x = 1
