How do you create an irregular sudoku puzzle?

If you want to create irregular sudoku puzzles then you need to draw a 9x9 grid and then work out your irregular regions.
Once you have done that, place numbers in the grid and try and solve your puzzle - keep adding numbers until you can solve it. Then double check it is correct.
Or simply play other peoples and avoid the hassle of creating your own!
